Our work in Children’s Ministries grows out of Jesus’ words in Mark 10:14, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these…” Jesus regularly ministered to children, and we believe the future of the church depends on ministry to children today.

Ministry happens best through relationships. This is particularly true in our small church, and small is great for your children. At LUMC, children are included in the beginning of worship, and have their own special time with Pastor before being led to our Children’s Church rooms. There they share in light curriculum, bible stories, and Christian crafts. Our Children’s Church program is led by trained volunteers, giving the children a wonderful opportunity to develop relationships with our warm and caring church members living their faith. We offer opportunities for children to serve and lead in church and each child can develop their faith.
